The Passo del Gavia, Passo del Vivione and the Passo della Presolana are famous climbs, frequently ridden during the Tour of Italy. The assent of the Passo del Gavia (2,621m) is one of the most notorious climbs from the ‘Giro' with narrow winding roads that are difficult to cycle, steep gradients and towards the top deep cuttings into the snow. The weather conditions are perfect: plenty of sun, clear blue skies and snow along the sides of the road!
